Software Quality Assurance Engineer Ensures the quality of software through application of standard software QA practices and adherence to the Quality System and product development process. Typical responsibilities include: development and execution of test procedures, analysis and submission of defects, working closely with developers to define test strategies and debug software, participating in cross-functional project meetings, writing project documentation, participating in continuous process improvement, and possibly serving in a lead QA role for software releases. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of QA related experience preferably in the medical software/device field. Demonstrated capability in the creation of effective requirements-based test cases or procedures. Effective communication and inter-personal skills. Some level of UNIX knowledge, shell or other programming skills, and exposure to test automation implementations preferred. A scientific or engineering background and domain knowledge of radiation treatment planning or medical physics are desirable.
