Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities Working within a project Software Quality Team whose primary responsibility is to assure software is developed and delivered in compliance with the projects customer standards in the context of the companys organizational practice. Performs process and/ or product audits throughout the software life cycle. Develops, maintains and proves the software quality assurance procedures and tools. Provides project planning support, organizational process development, independent testing, software build verification and participates in peer reviews. Qualifications BS degree in an engineering discipline with 8-10 years experience in software development and software quality assurance. Proficiency in document plans, procedures and audit results for distribution and presentation to a technical audience are essential. US Citizenship and ability to secure a government clearance are required. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Proficiency in quality systems is desirable along with demonstrated skills in leading process and productivity improvements using CMMI and ISO compliant processes.
