QA Engineer This full time position is a technical testing role working with an integrated team of developers, build engineers and QA leads. This position also includes a client help desk support role with knowledge of our Infrastructure systems. The primary objective for this candidate will be to drive the testing process and execution of test scenarios, as well as regression testing of product installers and internal infrastructure software systems. This position will also focus on communicating issue tracking through client tools. The support role will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by problem resolution in a timely manner. Responsibilities: The QA tester will have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the software development life cycle. This knowledge will provide the core to be used to maintain and release products that are bug free and of high quality. The tester will be responsible for performing unit testing, performance testing, functional testing, acceptance testing, user interface testing, production support testing of various software products using the plans, tools and scripts developed. Participation in design specification and technical documentation is essential to perform these duties. The tester will help prioritize defects to be fixed using an understanding of the requirements and needs of the customer.
