QA Engineer Roles and Responsibilities * Schedule, coordinate and monitoring Service Packs and Maintenance Releases * Assess and articulate the risk of a release and plan the appropriate level of testing * Work closely with Product Management, Development and QA to track and resolve issues * Perform manual testing and execute test cases * Keep test cases current, and properly manage the lifecycle of bugs * Follow QA best practices * Act as a gatekeeper to ensure the highest quality for all products Required Capabilities/Experience * 2+ years of relevant experience * Experienced in web/internet application testing * Experienced in bug tracking, reporting, and verification processes * Experienced in web browser compatibility testing for Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer * Good understanding of test strategies * Good understanding of the software development process * Excellent communication skills * Very organized with great attention to detail * Self-starter who takes ownership of projects with minimal supervision * Passion to test and resolve issues Experience with SQL and Unix a plus Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
