QQA Manager Requirements: * 5+ years experience as a QA Lead with hands-on planning and testing through a full lifecycle for web-based applications from requirements gathering to deployment * Experience representing the QA Organization/ Team for test planning and execution * Proven success working collaboratively with cross functional teams * Ability to communicate risk mitigation and come up with solutions without sacrificing quality * Ability to mentor junior QA engineers * Experience working as a strong conduit between Development and Business Units to turn requirements into effective test cases * Experience planning, developing or collaborating on test automation frameworks and test suites * Experience of various testing techniques and approaches * Experience aligning quality goals to company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators to the QA Org and the Org as a whole) * Experience building a solid QA team with varied technical skills * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills * Computer Science or Engineering degree Desired: * Experience in the past with defining and implementing successful release management procedures specifically centered around Common Practices, Build Release Procedure, Build Release Notes, Continuous Integration, etc., * Proven success in working collaboratively with the project team to define quality goals * Effective in a role that requires mentoring of junior staff, yet able to communicate effectively and succinctly to executive management * Experience scoping necessary commercial and open source tools using Cost/Benefit Analysis for Defect Tracking, Project Planning, Release Management, Source Code Control, Requirements, Testing and Automation * Experience with agile development processes (Scrum, XP) * Experience with open source technologies, Linux/Unix, Java, Ant, SVN, GIT Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
