Audio/Video Software Quality Engineer Responsibilities * Work on a highly committed team in a fast-paced, productive environment * Work with developers to design Audio and Video features and write detailed specifications * Write detailed test plans, develop test media and carry out testing as defined by the test plan * Define test scenarios that represent key customer use cases and workflows * Monitor and actively engage with customers as part of prerelease programs * Use internal bug tracking and test case management system * Effectively investigate and triage bugs * Follow through the bug resolution process * Collaborate with engineering teams at various sites and geographical locations * Deliver the highest quality engineering work to assure software quality Requirements * Experience with web video, video encoding, and digital streaming media * Experience with multiple operating systems including: Mac OS X, Windows, Ubuntu, Android, iOS * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a technical field * Experience testing and shipping commercial software * Strong knowledge of QA practices and approaches. * Knowledge of development of web applications using ActionScript 3.0, JavaScript or HTML * Ability to analyze, isolate, and document complex technical issues * Commitment to advocate for customers to ensure we successfully deliver on their requirements and expectations * Genuine enjoyment of QE work * Ability and flexibility to work between different tasks and deliver high quality results on time with little supervision or guidance * Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
