Systems Integration Test Engineer The candidate provides supervision to other test technicians; selects and prepares software and hardware for testing; selects test equipment; operates software and hardware under test; conducts verification and validation; and records test data, pointing out deviations resulting from hardware or software malfunction or observational errors. Candidate operates and maintains automatic or electronic test equipment, troubleshoots and solves complex technical problems with hardware or software testing; participates in test program set development process providing assessment of design specifications and documentation; verifies operator/maintenance documentation; prepares written reports of findings and recommendations; provides status of test project to management. Degree/Education Requirements A.S. degree in IT technical field or years of experience. Required Skills * Security + Certification * ITIL V3 Foundation * good written and oral communications skills; good interpersonal skills * Self motivated and directed * proven analytical and problem solving skills * experience in working in collaborative and team-oriented environment * UNIX and Windows 2000, 2003 based servers and clients and comprehensive knowledge on configuring/managing Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange 2000 and 2003 systems * ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure to include fiber optic and wired cabling, switches, and routers. * VMWare and thin client technology * Cisco routers ranging from 1800 - 7200, PIX Firewalls, and VPN Concentrators as well as Cisco 2900 - 6500 Series Catalyst switches operating COS and IOS.
