QA Analyst •Identify and document test cases for web software development based on functional and technical requirements •Use established QA methodology and best practices to effectively test software applications against their business and technical requirements •Develop automated test cases using the SilkTest testing tool. •Execute test cases that consist of both manual and automated test scripts •Manage execution of test scripts, coordinate and resolve defect issues with development teams •Recreate reported bugs in order to be able to fix and affectively test the application fixes •Work closely with Product Development teams throughout the development lifecycle process •Manage regression testing efforts for all releases both maintenance and major releases •Identify and communicate improved quality procedures as they are identified •Communicate status of testing efforts and issues to Manager in an effective and timely manner •Create acceptance tests for both bugs and feature requests •2-3 years web software-testing experience required (Java, SQL, C, C+ +). •Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred, degree and/ or experience in ERP, Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences a plus. •Strong knowledge of the procurement processes a plus. •Thorough understanding of web-based software technologies required. •Experience with Windows- based systems required.
