* Quality Assurance Analyst testing on Java Weblogic applications * Developing, and executing quality assurance testing against multiple applications, including the full suite of Subscriber Management Applications. * Will provide detailed test case development, software testing, verification, and certification of deliverables across the systems development and implementation lifecycle. * Will contribute to the Quality Assurance activities of assigned projects and ensure that the software meets required standards prior to production release o Strong verbal and written communication skills. o Should have experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications o Experience working with web application servers (WebLogic) is a plus o Good understanding of CMM processes and procedures o Proven track record in developing high quality test cases and scripts. o Knowledge of object oriented analysis and design. o Experience with high volume, high-availability applications. o Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills o Ability to quickly learn new applications o Prior software development experience a plus. * Experience with all aspects of SDLC management, with expertise in the testing and release management stages. * Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, and interact daily with all levels of staff, including system developers and business analysts. * Experience in a subscription based industry preferred- cable/broadband, cellular/PCS, digital satellite provider, ISP, local exchange carrier, or magazine publishing. * Minimum of 6+ years of experience in system testing and quality assurance positions in the area of Software Engineering/Application Development. * Bachelors Degree or equivalent * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Should have experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications * Experience working with web application servers (WebLogic) is a plus * Good understanding of CMM processes and procedures * Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, and interact daily with all levels of staff, including system developers and business analysts. * Experience in a subscription based industry preferred- cable/broadband, cellular/PCS, digital satellite provider, ISP, local exchange carrier, or magazine publishing. * Prior software development experience a plus. * Experience with all aspects of SDLC management, with expertise in the testing and release management stages Technical Skills: * Testing Software * minimum of 6 years experience: * Mercury Load Runner, Mercury Win Runner, Mercury Quick Test Professional, Mercury Test * Director, Empirix, * Database Monitors, * Network Sniffers * SQL Server and Oracle * C, C#, XML, JAVA, WebLogic, HTML * Bugzilla, Visual Intercept * Portal Infranet knowledge (or other subscription based billing systems), Streaming Technology, Web Technologies, Oracle Financials, Data Warehousing * DBMS * minimum of 6 years experience * Software Development: - minimum of 6 years experience * Bug Tracking Tools * 6 of experience Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
