Quality Assurance Tester * Participating in review sessions of business requirements, technical requirements, and design documents to ensure that software changes are understood to facilitate testing * Coordinating, communicating, and disseminating testing timelines, deliverables, status and all other information to QA Test Manager, Test Lead and project teams * Executing test cases and evaluating actual vs. expected results * Communicating frequently with IT Development to identify and track defects and defect fixes * Assisting in the development of the project quality review checkpoints for the assigned applications * Assessing risk to project based on results of execution and validation and making appropriate recommendations * Participating in Go/No Go project decisions * Providing project implementation support on an as needed basis * Contributing to and monitoring execution of testing better practices and continual QA process improvements * Assisting with application training of new resources * Ability to interpret quality audits, coordinate improvements and change, and facilitate test methodology across multiple business units * Ability to create and manage Point of Inspection (POI), project plans, and activity timelines * Daily interaction with a global team. * A college degree or equivalent experience * System software testing * Planning and coordinating test activities * Overseeing test case development and defect resolution * HP's Interactive Test Tool Quality Center * Experience with QuickTest Professional or equivalent testing software * Proven experience in all aspects of functional, integration and regression testing * Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail * Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and excellent analytical skills * Independent decision-making and good judgment * Strong time, interpersonal and people skills * Ability to operate comfortably in a multi-task/multi priority environment * Experience with client servers environments * Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office 2007 product * Unix Operating System - Solaris, Linux * VB.net * Database Systems - Oracle, DB2, SQL * Understanding of Application Development lifecycle and concepts * Scripting - Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, VBscript * Web - HTML, XML * Networking - FTP, SFTP, SCP, DNS, CSS Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
