Automated Test Script Developer This position is responsible for performing scripting and analysis duties to produce specific deliverables relating to various phases of Quality Assurance in the Software Life Cycle Development process. The incumbent will need to work independently, and requires supervision on complex tasks only. Performs some technical evaluation of QA products required for continued growth. Responsible for producing high quality deliverables in a timely fashion, while performing within project management activities such as planning, sizing, and scheduling activities. Creates automate test scripts using HP QTP (Quick Test Professional) and Load Runner products. Completes detailed automated test designs for application enhancement projects with medium to high level of complexity or change. Demonstrates strong technical skills by regularly executing testing of medium to large Billing, Provisioning, and Care Projects. Independently and as a team member perform automated application testing, integration testing, usability testing, acceptance testing and regression testing techniques using self generated scripts and test plans. Stage and prepare data (CDRs, Service Orders, API/XML transactions, and reference data) for functional testing and regression testing. Maintain and prepare the test environments for execution for release testing. Analyze business requirements and create testing scenarios and scripts for all testing phases of the Software Life Cycle. 3+ years of information systems experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Minimum of 3+ years in HP Automated Test tools (QTP and Load Runner), code standards, and technical procedures Minimum 3+ years of QA testing methodologies and test design Strong technical and analytical skills Excellent knowledge of quality assurance management techniques Knowledgeable in state-of- the-art technology and application environments Strong knowledge of information systems Previous experience in leading testing efforts for medium to large size application projects Excellent wireless business knowledge Knowledge of information systems concepts Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities Strong judgment and Decision-making abilities Strong Organizational and problem solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems.
