Quality Engineer/Senior Quality Engineer Responsibilities: Plays a key role in the support of new product development and commercialization by: • Resolving issues by applying root cause methodologies • Supporting design development by applying experimentation methods and statistical tools • Leading risk management activities and process validations • Creating and implementing inspection methods, acceptance criteria and sampling plans Competencies Required: • Possesses a thorough understanding of root cause methodologies and data analysis tools • Utilizes a collaborative approach with business partners • Generates creative solutions to issues • Facilitates effective risk management to prevent unanticipated failure modes and ensure capability • Ensures effective design control and transfer • Possesses excellent technical writing skills; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology or a related discipline • A minimum of 3 years experience in medical device industry • A minimum of 2 years experience as a Quality Engineer is required • Experience with Minitab or other statistics software packages • Thorough knowledge of medical device quality system regulations and requirements (i.e. ISO-International Organization for Standardization, FDA-Food and Drug Administration, cGMP-Good Manufacturing Practices) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the use of Design of Experiments • Certified Quality Engineer Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
