Test Engineer II Troubleshoot PCBAs and fixtures using schematic and bench-top equipment (O-scope, DMM, signal analyzers) Communicate effectively and interact with a cross-functional team, including Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems, Regulatory, Operations, and Quality groups. Familiarity with documentation control tools and writing Engineering Change Orders, as required. Manually verify test processes prior to implementation using common electrical test equipment. Utilize statistical methods for determining variation and performance of test equipment. Develop manufacturing test specifications including ICT, functional, and final test. Develop test requirements and test coverage analysis using schematic and product requirements document. Select software and hardware equipment (sensors, PC cards, Labview, etc) for test fixtures. Lead test fixture specification / design reviews. Utilize the Software Development Life Cycle Model to develop and validate test fixtures. Coordinate pilot builds, acceptance, and production transfer activities with PCBA Contract Manufacturers. Knowledge of regulatory standards for medical devices (IEC, ISO, FDA) a plus. Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution with 2-5 years of engineering experience. Knowledge of automated vision inspections, analog/digital PCBA test, fabrication, assembly, and quality engineering for medical device products. Knowledge of testing techniques for analog/digital PCBA's and proof-of-concept test systems for complex mechanical assemblies. Ability to use test equipment, oscilloscope, DMM, signal analyzers. Ability to manage multiple projects. Good organization and time utilization skills. Knowledge of regulatory standards for medical devices (IEC, ISO, FDA).
