DBA III Responsibilities overview: * Manage and support current and future database development and methodologies * Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements * Determine resource consumption estimates, recommend system upgrades and handle implementation of approved upgrades * Respond to after-hours database emergencies * Write, maintain, and tune Transact SQL * Provide expertise to other teams in the design and development of enterprise databases * Participate in installation and configuration of relevant network components to ensure database access as well as database consistency and integrity * Perform database cluster administration and management Requirements: * 4+ years DBA experience * Clustered Microsoft SQL Server 2005 experience * SAN experience a plus * Experience with Windows Server 2008 * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Experience with MongoDB a plus * Travel industry experience a plus Thank you, DBA FYI Center http://dba.fyicenter.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
