Software Quality Assurance Analyst Lead Your area provides quality assurance, analytical and research support for assigned development initiatives, including new product and service enhancements, and hardware and software application installations or upgrades. As an integral part of this dynamic and progressive team, you will work alongside with and lead other QA analysts to plan and execute software testing to ensure a high level of quality for software releases or changes to existing applications. You will analyze and organize information to develop detailed test plans from business and functional requirements documentation. Your strong organizational and attention to detail skills will be emphasized as you execute comprehensive test scripts for new applications and modifications to existing applications and document- appropriate quality results—including software defect reporting; this process will demonstrate that business systems’ needs are met. Depending on the SDLC phase of testing, you will perform either smoke (Sanity) testing, functionality testing, performance testing, integration testing, ad hoc testing, regression testing and end-to-end system testing. You will also provide clear and concise defect reporting with appropriate evidence of systems issues, including traceability. Your contributions will certainly reinforce PNC’s business objectives and produce value-added results to the overall organization.
