Software Testing Manager Responsibilities * Effectively manage the members of the Software Test team in respect of personnel matters including career development * Participate in formal staff review processes including performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescales * Manage the workload of the team effectively to achieve the desired departmental goals and objectives * Delegation of tasks as appropriate to help ensure effective and timely completion * Monitoring and guidance of the team to ensure conformance to current standards and procedures * Plan, design and execute manual and automated software tests * Develop and maintain supporting documentation * Log, track and manage software issues and defects detected during testing * Provide advice and guidance to others, including internal customers and team members on software testing * Contribute to the development of the software testing process * Be a positive and proactive member of Agile Scrum teams Experience: * Educated to degree level, preferably in a computing discipline * In- depth, hands-on software testing experience including test case development, execution and automation * Previous team lead or management experience and strong leadership ability * Strong software team lead or management experience highly desirable, with solid leadership ability * Knowledge and experience of using SQL against Oracle databases * Experience working in an Agile environment preferred * ISEB foundation qualification * Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage but not essential * Demonstrable high level of proficiency with QTP and VBScript * Test case creation and execution as well as defect raising and tracking using Quality Center Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
