Software Quality Assurance Analyst Essential Functions · Gain an understanding of software requirements · Create effective test plans · Create and document test cases · Execute test cases and articulate test results · Juggle multiple projects and priorities · Validate if software requirements are met · Objectively assess production readiness from a quality perspective. · Propose ideas for improving quality · Demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to keep projects on track · Suggest process improvements · Review and test upgrades for currently released software · Advance job knowledge to the next level by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications · Accomplish department and organizational mission by completing related tasks as needed · Work independently with minimal direction Knowledge, skills and abilities · General knowledge of programming languages, such as Delphi, C++ and ColdFusion · Ability to understand technology changes and identify opportunities · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to remain organized · Ability to be flexible in a changing environment · Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters Education and Experience · Bachelors degree in a related area and/or three to five years of progressively responsible experience in Software Quality Assurance; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position · Previous experience in Software Quality Assurance required · Experience in payment processing systems desired · Experience with automated testing desired Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
