Quality Assurance Engineer • Coordinate obtaining finished samples from suppliers and lab testing for annual finished product testing. • Perform supplier audits per established procedures. • Lead supplier improvement efforts. • Support the application of supplier information software • Conduct supplier training as necessary in such topics as mistake proofing, problem solving, SPC, gage R&R, and internal auditing. • Assist other regions or Engineers with SQA activities and assist corporate QA with other corporate QA initiatives, projects, and tasks. In short, you are our quality check to make sure our vendors and new supplies are doing what they should and if they are not, developing the necessary corrective action to improve that situation you have a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering), are an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer with knowledge and experience with quality systems including ISO 9001 and TS16949, have great communication skills and can travel at least 50% of the time, you have a very good start.
