QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER Duties and Function: • Quality Assurance of licensing product. Including the software development tools our product teams use to implement licensing in their products and the corresponding server technologies • Write detailed Test Plans; develop test conditions; identify manual/automated test procedures for various functions and applications; record and track software defects through in-house bug tracking tool • Understand the customer requirements, including the needs of product teams, and end users • Collaborate with development team. Participate in regular product meetings pertaining to the entire software development process with the intent of extracting and implementing quality assurance requirements • Standardize, document and implement an effective QA process. Apply best practices in quality assurance of software products. Requirements: Skills • Experience with some programming language, C/C++, Java, Python preferred • Any scripting language knowledge • Experience with testing a client/server environment • Exposure in product implementation is added advantage • Full understanding of the entire SDLC • Exposure in automation testing using any automation testing tools • Detailed oriented and ability to work independently and/or with little supervision in a fast paced results driven environment • Exposure to multiple OS platforms - Windows, Unix, Linux • Ability to identify, write, and execute the test cases on various platforms • Strong communication skills (verbal/ written) - the ability to articulate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences (PMs, Technical Specialists, Developers, Architects, etc) Education and Experience • BS/MS in CS or a related technical field. • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive QA engineering experience Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
