Software QA Engineer Responsibilities: - Define, develop test plans, test cases and other QA assessments for testing the Application Catalog - Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, and black box testing as required. - Develop automated testing systems using commercial tools - Manage assigned projects and provide resource planning, manage and resolve issue that impact testing effort - Able to work independently and provide leadership to a team of ~5 QA engineers - Work closely with Development and QA engineers and ensure the software development process has a high level of quality Skills: - Demonstrate ability to work with Development, Project Management and Peers - Good understanding of software development and writing tools - Experience writing White box test cases for Web Services using Java and JUnit - Familiar with Linux and Windows Operating Systems - Experience with Automation and Development technologies including Java, J2EE, mySQL and Perl - Comfortable testing and leveraging automated and API frameworks - Experience working in a cross functional team that is well integrated with Development - Ability to pick up new technical skills and apply them immediately - Good analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to juggle multiple tasks - Excellent written and verbal communications skills Experience: - Minimum of 5 Years as a Developer, QA Engineer or White Box Engineer Education: - BSc, EE or equivalent degree Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
