Quality Engineer Required Skills and Experience: • At least 3 years experience in quality engineering in a technology company, either hardware or software. Equivalent experience in a design or manufacturing engineering role may be considered. • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience. • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. • Familiar with engineering change processes and technical documentation. • Familiar with ISO9001 or equivalent standards. • Experience as project manager or key participant in process improvement projects. Desired Skills and Experience: • Experience with a PLM or product data management (PDM) application (Arena, Agile, Windchill, SmarTeam, etc.) • Experience with software development, systems engineering, hardware development, and manufacturing • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (Oracle, SAP, Syteline, MANMAN) • Certified internal auditor • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Software Quality Engineer, and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, Theory of Constraints, and/or Kaizen methodologies. • Sharepoint experience. • Project management experience, ideally including certification.
