Software Engineer

Job Duties: Reporting to Director of Engineering, architect client/
server-based transcoding systems and develop .Net C# client and server
side services and components for transcoding media. Enable third party
developers’ access to services through fully documented and serviced
API. Responsible for next generation Rhozet Workflow System
architecture and development using agile development practices.
Perform extensive unit testing on various virtual machines. Involved
in development of Carbon Server components including UI design and
modifications, preset editing, managing job distribution, job
prioritization, FTP transfer, status monitoring, and job notification
using object oriented languages and Windows debugging tools. Involved
in development and support of Rhozet Carbon Coder application using C/C
++, VC++, MFC, and XML. Maintain knowledge base of codec SDK
implementation and parameters to be used in transcoding. Responsible
for support, maintenance and enhancement of all Rhozet deployed
applications.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related technical
field + 5 years experience as programmer-analyst. Experience must
include: 1) C#.Net, C++, OOPS, COM, ADO.NET, XAML, XML Schema, XSLT,
SQL Server tools and technologies; 2) data structures & algorithms,
multithreading and optimization; 3) Windows environment and APIs; 4)
WPF technologies, LINQ.
