STE/Software QA Tester * Write test plans, test entry criteria, and test cases for projects * Test, hands-on, new functionality and report software bugs * Experience developing automated test cases desired * Performs estimation efforts on projects. * Provide feedback on how well new features integrate and work within the existing system * Test and report content problems, such as missing content, music metadata or images * Provide reports in daily standup meetings, and via email and bug database * Verify bug fixes * Trouble-shoot reported bugs for elusive or hard to reproduce problems * Ad hoc testing as directed * Work as directed with QA Lead * Passion for, and commitment to, software quality * 2+ years of software quality assurance and/or development experience * Experience in database testing * Knowledge of software testing methodology * Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including table design and relational database concepts * Demonstrated knowledge of SQL, Perl, shell scripting, as well as UNIX commands, environments and tools * Understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes * Experience with Agile development and test methodologies such as Scrum * Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with team members to cross-pollinate ideas and processes across various components of the system * A bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related field * Ability to work on diverse problems where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors * The skills and understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative, practical ways Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
