Software Quality Engineer Develop written test plans that ensure that software deliverables achieve customer business requirements. Perform quality analysis to ensure product integrity and quality customer deliverables. Work with developers to validate testing requirements and identify, prioritize and resolve software defects. Work with customers to ensure user acceptance of software deliverables. Work with documentation staff to ensure a smooth handoff. Participate in the project review process to establish and monitor project. Meet revenue targets for position. Provide guidance and training to other quality assurance and development personnel. Provide on-going input/feedback on QA standards, testing methods and automated test tool utilization. Perform all work according to budget and scheduled time frames. May develop written functional design specifications that adhere to product standards and solve business requirements. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in retail industry, computer software development and experience working with POS, Order Management, Inventory Management, Warehousing, and Financial applications preferred. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies. Knowledge of the quality assurance process, methods and automated testing tools preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch priorities effectively. Ability to work independently and in a cooperative team environment. Strong analytical and communication skills.
