Lead Test Development Engineer Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Generate test strategy, specifications, tests and test bundles (or scripts) for new products Work with R&D, Product Development, Engineering and Quality groups to make sure new products are fully testable Work with firmware and software test engineers to develop tests Validate that the test software is complete and fully functional Coordinate regression testing of new test bundles. Design test equipment and coordinate the fabrication of custom production-line testers; including documentation for replicating testers and test fixtures as needed for production. Skills & Competencies: Solid understanding of manufacturing process flow and test engineering requirements for high volume products Must have the ability to read schematics, have a good understanding of electronics, and have the ability to analyze circuits when no engineering specifications are available Demonstrated knowledge of C and C++, Linux shell scripting, and other software development tools Ability to create documentation in a clear, complete, and concise manner Mechanical and electrical product manufacturing knowledge Wireless (e.g. 802.11) testing experience a plus Must speak English fluently Excellent reading and writing skills Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent experience Minimum of five-years experience in test engineering Experience working with high volume products Experience with robotics and automation a plus Toy experience is a plus Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
