Software QA Engineer • own the delivery of commercial enterprise products including design, implementation, and verification of text analytics components including NLP and statistical analysis as well as search features for integration with the Greenplum DBMS and Greenplum Hadoop products • champion quality and customer satisfaction • evaluate technology options and recommend solutions to building quality into our new and existing products • reviewing code • writing unit tests, • writing automated regression tests, and • tracking and fixing defects as they are found • Prior experience owning the quality assurance for a commercial product (Required) A solid understanding of at least two: Python, C and/or Java • Strong and obvious interest in the following: Natural Language Processing Information Retrieval Machine Learning Hadoop Lucene/SOLR RDBMS • Familiarity with Unix programming environments and GNU tools • An understanding of parallel and distributed algorithms • Experience with Agile software project management styles • Experience in release management • Excellent communications skills • Degree in Computer Science or Computational Linguistics • Strong teamwork skills and also the ability to act independently Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
