Software Quality Testing Engineer (QA) -automation preferred * Work closely with team members to design and implement solid test coverage * Work autonomously to effectively test features and document test results in an Agile environment * Support the collection and reporting of software quality metrics * Assist in meeting project deadlines * Peer review of test deliverables * Actively participate in sizing and planning exercises * Accurately estimate tasks and assignments * Subject matter expert on the product and related technologies * Research new testing technologies and QA procedures * Must be detail oriented * Must have strong understanding of SQL* * Must be technically strong and provide detailed reports of issues * BS in MIS, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field * 2+ years* experience in functional, integration, or system testing web based applications * Familiarity with web development and relational database concepts * Healthcare experience desirable (HL7, IHE, Direct Project) * A solid understanding of Software Quality Assurance process * Experience with performance, load, and stress testing * Experience and understanding of object oriented programming * Extensive knowledge and experience with test automation and testing tools * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to work on multiple complex tasks simultaneously * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a software development environment * Knowledge of available tools, technologies, methodologies, processes, and best practices to deliver high quality software * Effective interpersonal skills (presentation, written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels * Experience testing Web Services and/or APIs * Working knowledge of advanced testing techniques including: Exploratory Testing, Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Class Partitioning, SOAP Services/API * Testing of Cross-Site Scripting, and SQL Injection * Able to demonstrate proficiency with automated test tools and concepts * Experience working on agile development teams (e.g., Scrum, XP, TDD, etc.) Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
