Senior Test Analyst • Review Business Requirement Specifications, Functional Requirement Specifications, Test Plan and Test Cases from Business Analysts and / or Testers. • Creation of Requirements Traceability matrices for testing initiatives • Logging of Test Cases into Quality Centre • Scripting of test cases for test automation • Analysis of performance test results • Review and provide input to relevant business / functional specifications • Ensure adequate Post Verification Checking processes are reviewed for completeness / coverage • Update and maintenance of Regression Test Suite • Execute testing in accordance with Test Strategy, Plans and Cases. • Performance Testing (HP Load Runner) • Test Automation (HP Quick Test Professional), this includes scripting, scheduling, executing and monitoring of tests • Prepare test results and metrics for formal presentation and signoff where necessary • Logging of defects within QC and management throughout the SDLC • Provide User Acceptance Test support including, working with users to develop test plans / case where required • Liase with development / configuration management teams to ensure user test environments are available as required • Business orientation with IT background or functional expertise. • 5 - 10 years experience including at least 2 - 3 years as a Senior Test Analyst in a Systems Development, Financial Services environment • Ability to work with little supervision and within a small team • Ability to mentor other test analysts • Ability to work within tight dead lines • Strong problem solving and decision making skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deal with Senior Management • To act and perform in a professional manner indicative of a Senior Test Analyst role • Provide a line of professional communication to development team members • Develop and manage testing project plans • Perform analysis of systems and business documentation, attend walk-throughs and provide sign-off • Ensure all projects follow the Software Development Life Cycle • Establish test requirements including test environments, types of testing to be conducted including the Maintenance of a clean test environment • Plan, research and creation of test plans and execution of same ensuring repeatability & auditability of processes deployed • Ensure all project targets have been met within the test plan • Ensure measurements and metrics have been maintained for all phases of testing • Determine severity for any defects identified and manage escalation and resolution path • Responsible for defect tracking for projects under their control • Establish and maintain a point of contact with other departments and lines of business • Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) as and when required Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
