Qi, by definition a hub & spoke is a subset of mesh, which MAP supports naturally. Any solution that seeks to exclude hub& spoke mode from mesh is in conflict with that and as stated multiple times, precluding such use is actually complicating the MAP solution, for no apparent benefit or technical reason as it is a deployment choice.
