The following errata report has been submitted for RFC7600, "IPv4 Residual Deployment via IPv6 - A Stateless Solution (4rd)".
-------------------------------------- You may review the report below and at: http://www.rfc-editor.org/errata_search.php?rfc=7600&eid=4430 -------------------------------------- Type: Editorial Reported by: Michelle Cotton <[email protected]> Section: 6 Original Text ------------- (need to add the below text) Corrected Text -------------- This address is to be used only as IPv4 source of an ICMP error packet whose cause originated within a tunnel across an IPv6-only domain. As such, it should never be used as a destination (and consequently never forwarded). When receiving an IPv4 packet with this address as source, no specific action that would reserve this address for this protocol is required (dealing as usual with the error cause specified in the ICMP packet is sufficient). Notes ----- While processing the IANA Actions for this document, the authors requested that the above text be added to the IANA Considerations section. The published version does not include this text. Instructions: ------------- This erratum is currently posted as "Reported". If necessary, please use "Reply All" to discuss whether it should be verified or rejected. When a decision is reached, the verifying party (IESG) can log in to change the status and edit the report, if necessary. -------------------------------------- RFC7600 (draft-ietf-softwire-4rd-10) -------------------------------------- Title : IPv4 Residual Deployment via IPv6 - A Stateless Solution (4rd) Publication Date : July 2015 Author(s) : R.
