hi all, not much time on this free hostel terminal but we are now in this little medieval picturesque czech town for the night before heading for prague tomorrow....last night we were in passeau, a bavarian town on the danube at the czech/bavarian border...also very nice lots of italian baraque architecture....expesnive campsite though....we got stuck here as steve the guy im travelling with on his dohc cb750 bol dor wanted to change his tire as the old one was worn....axl from munich (we made it axl!!!! thank you for everything!!!) had called ahead and confirmed they had the right tire....we arrived at 1pm and didnt leave until 5pm!!! so much for german efficiency lol....no there was more to it than that like steves battery had died (i was bump starting him around europe!!) so we had to replace that only the bike expert at the garage tried to give him a new batery that was uncharged and then couldnt work out why it wouldnt work!!! then he put steves front brakes on wrong and he onl! y noticed as he was driving down a hill...all good fun lol......weather has tunrned cold and we are freezing while driving lol very nice czech countryside and very rural....often no traffic and only skodas when we see cars lol and tractors of course....roads are ok but not great but there seems a lot of gas stations. and gas is very very cheap....tomorrow e push on to northern bohemia and prague taking the countryside route....more as it happens... thanks for listening, andy in the czech repulic on cb750k4 (bit dirtier after the rain - and now done 2100miles so far) _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!
