List, another list member and I will soon be acquiring a small collection of SOHC bikes and associated parts from a fellow enthusiast. Our goal will be to resurrect at least three runners and get the bikes into the hands of folks who can use and enjoy them.
Since I've got a bunch of projects already in the works, I will probably only be taking on a CB500/550K hybrid. Given the available combinations of engines and frames, this particular bike will most likely wind up titled in TX as a 1972 CB500, with a later (76?) CB550 engine. If anyone is interested in this bike when its finished, or knows someone who might be, let me know. I thought I'd toss this info out now, so a prospective future owner could have some say in the build.....color, bars, rearsets or stock peg arrangement, etc. Kevin Hunter Friendswood, TX
