I have tried this in the past, with a 750 DOHC. The result was a leaking
seal again, tried again and it leaked again... Not even speaking of the
little tit that you mention.

I am sorry, buut I don't think it will work.

What you can do is put the engine upside down, and remove the lower crank
case only.

Are you sure it's the seal, and not the oilpump O rings that are leaking?

Is it possible to change this seal without taking the
entire bike apart?  The seal has a little tit that
makes it look like it the seal must be inserted from
inside the transmission.  But I don't wanna take the
whole bike apart for this lousy seal.
