Bill. I have tried this in the past, with a 750 DOHC. The result was a leaking seal again, tried again and it leaked again... Not even speaking of the little tit that you mention.
I am sorry, buut I don't think it will work. What you can do is put the engine upside down, and remove the lower crank case only. Are you sure it's the seal, and not the oilpump O rings that are leaking? ____________________________________________ Ren van Maanen HONDA SOHC/4 Specialist CB350F CB400F CB500F CB550 CB750 Reparatie, Restauratie, Onderhoud en Onderdelen Apeldoorn, Netherlands Mob: +31 (0)6 1484 6559 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Website> honda4.nl <http://honda4.nl> Due to a recently installed spamkiller my replies may take longer than usual. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of William F. The seal has a little tit that makes it look like it the seal must be inserted from inside the transmission. But I don't wanna take the whole bike apart for this lousy seal. Help!
