This seems to be a fairly common thing on our bike when they hit this age. From the experience of many folks I know with thisd oroblem, the regulator is probably the culprit. It will over charge and pop the fuses. Especailly when Revving. You can replace it with a solid state one from a DOHC but it's not a direct plug in
