OK, this is a followup to my first question:

I do not have an official Honda manual for my CB550. Anyone know where I can get one?
I have a clymer, but I'd rather get it straight from the horse's mouth.

Anyways, as part of my clutch issues, I put new clutch fibers in. The only diagram of
the clutch parts I could find was for a 76 CB550K1, and according to THAT diagram, I
have all the right parts (steels and fibers wise anyways). However, when I assemble
the clutch, it's tight.. REAL tight. In fact, I had to tap on the assembly to get
that snap ring to jump into its groove. There is ZERO play. I'm sure there might be
a few ten thousandths, but nothing that I can feel with my hands.

This seems like the clutch assembly is too tight. I can't move the fibers in the
basket at all, even though I don't evem have the springs installed yet. However, if I
remove any of the steels and fibers, it's WAY WAY loose, and even with the springs
installed, I can move the fibers around.

What gives? Do I once again have the wrong part installed? The clymer doesn't give
part numbers, and the only part numbers I can find are for a 76. Anyone out there
willing to scan the exploded diagram of the clutch assembly for a 74 CB550K0 from an
official shop manual to get me by while I search for one to buy?

This is MOST frustrating.

HELP!
