I think you can safely say that if you do not see list mail for a little while, and if you get no reply from a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - try just sending the word 'help' in the body - that the list server is not running. It could be anything from a server problem to a network problem. Best thing to do, after you get no reply from the listserver, is sit back and wait. Don't flood the listserver with messages asking about the status of the list since they just queue up and get delivered en mass when the system comes back online.
