I just ordered a side panel from dennis kirk after seeing the discussion- Is it the same thing as the JC whitney side panel? This is the exact thing I am trying to replace (I am looking for the one with tabs, not the bolt on) but after seeing the picture, I realized I have that already and am trying to replace it with the one with tabs. Should I cancel the order? Has anyone ordered this from dennis kirk? thanks, Melissa Garland Here's what Mark said to me: Yes, I've used them on my 550 and 750. they are not as good as original, but if you just want something, and want them black, they are suitable. You have to drill them and put these crushable nuts (hard to explain) in the rubbers where the tabs originally went. If you can find originals, and/or are going to paint, I would not buy these. -MARK- _____ >From this, I would say cancel, especially considering they want $25 each for the maiers.
