Steelo,
Many people find the turn buzzer annoying and disconnect them. I
prefer to have it functional rather than drive several miles with the
turn signal flashing. The buzzer is way louder than the click of the
flasher relay. But, if you have a noisy helmet and/or no windscreen,
you still may not hear it above 60 MPH. I don't think it is nearly as
loud as the backup alarms on the trucks I've heard. The choice is
yours, of course. But, if you often find that you've been blinking for
several miles, confusing other drivers of your intentions, it might be a
good idea.

I have resurrected a non-functioning buzzer that came with one of my
acquisitions. It has more "character" than all the rest of my bikes.
Reminds me of a teen-age boy going through puberty. It's voice
crackles unpredictably. I love all the strange looks it illicits from
other drivers and pedestrians when waiting to make a turn. It's really
kind of a pathetic voice, I suppose. But, I never forget to cancel the
signal after the turn! :-) I think it's WAY less annoying than the
hip-hop speakers on wheels. :-(

Cheers,
Lloyd SOHC4 #11
