I got a recipe from Tim Feusi ( are you still with us?) back in 2000. Matter of fact he sent a whole page outlining the whole 3 stage painting process that I could scan and send to those who want the whole thing (along with my scribbled notes).. The color Tim had me buy was a House of Kolor brand paint. I bought a pint just to cover a scratch on a brand new tank! Perfect match. He said his tank after completion was a perfect match to his factory side covers. House of Color doesn't sell retail but has a number to call for dealers in your area. 612-729-1044, Picayune , Mississippi. I found mine at Superior Paint in Salt Lake City. Its pricey. I think they sold me half a pint...$36.80!
The basic recipe is: 1pint BC-02 Silver Base 1once MF-2 Mini Flake ( one once will do whole bike) 1pt UK-8 Tangerine Candy 1pt KU-100 hardener 2 Quarts medium reducer Hope that helps, Brian Hoover Cedar City Utah 1969KO, 1973K3, 750's ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Boomhower" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Multiple recipients of list" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2004 1:32 PM Subject: orange paint > I remember several years ago, someone had the "recipe" > for a good duplicate of the sunrise flake orange.
