I had made plans to go to Boston last week to pick up an old car
(1974 2002tii) I bought, and really wanted to meet Andy, whose
travels through the US and Mexico are the stuff of legends here.

Andy was wonderfully kind and gracious enough to offer me a room to
stay in for the night I was in town.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating, and it took me a while
to get the car over to Andy's place, and I ended up parking the car
on an icy hill in front of someone's driveway, unable to climb the
hill or back down due to the ice.

The next morning, Andy and I went out and looked at the car, and it
was still icy as hell out. We could have slid down the hill on our
bellies! I went and bought a bag of salt for the road, and Andy
kindly helped me spread the salt around. When that didn't help
enough, Andy went to work, scraping the ice off the roadway in front
of the tires while I carefully tried to move the car.

It took a while, but I eventually got the car off the hill thanks to
Andy's help.

I'm just the latest to find out what a great guy Andy is! I wish I
was closer to that Easy Rider ride he's planning!

Thanks again, Andy!
