Typically, listers having their questions answered should contact the 
source of this previously unknown knowledge and snail mail them a thank 
you note.  Miss Manners would approve of this.  Include also a check for 
$10 as meager recompense.  Beyond that, or in lieu of, a sidecover in 
great condition is always welcome.

At a minimum, I always give a private TYVM to the emailer form the list.
