hello Ajit,

this is probably because the other user has some other default shell - not
bash. you can find what is the shell for a user by looking at the
/etc/passwd file - the last field (7th) in the user's entry is the selected
shell.
if you do not want to change the shell entry in the passwd file you can
always run bash manually after you do su.
