hello Jonathan,
i have not seen an officially supported usb scanner that can be used with sunrays. here is a link to all the verified 3rd-party usb products for the sun ray: http://www.sun.com/io_technologies/sunray/usb/usb.prods.ihv.html there is also some info in the general FAQ for the sunray server software 2.0: quote>>>> Q: What types of USB devices may be used with Sun Ray 2.0? A. USB-Serial/Parallel adapters USB printers USB keypads USB bar code scanners USB magnetic stripe readers USB HID class touch screen interfaces USB Keyboards and Mice Q: How may I get support for other types of USB devices? A: Sun Ray Server Software will soon support the libusb API which will enable device drivers written for Linux in the libusb API to be compiled and run for Sun Ray ultra-thin clients. This does not include mounting removable media devices, which is a separate project. end quote>>>> hope this helps Stoyan "Papillo, Jonathan A." wrote: > > Steve, > > Did you ever find a way to hook a USB scanner up to Solaris?
