hello, to use PPPoE (PPP 4.0) with Solaris 8 you should have at least Solaris 8 10/01. the packeges are: SUNWpppd - Solaris PPP device drivers SUNWpppdu - Solaris PPP daemon and utilities SUNWpppg - GNU utilities for PPP SUNWpppdr - configuration files SUNWpppgS - ANU source code SUNWpppdt - PPPoE modules
