Has someone experience with registering new/extra fonts on Solaris?
I have done the following:
- use xset -q to display current settings and path
- created a new directory in /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/myfonts
- copy my fonts in .../myfonts
- create the fonts.dir file with mkfontdir /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/myfonts
- Add to path with xset fp+ /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/myfonts
- And re-register with xset fp rehash
I have done this as root user, but my application that run as a different user does not seem to pick up the fonts.
Am I missing a step somewhere?
