Please study <select.h>, it is 1024. But u can increase this by increasing
compile time parameter(-DFD_SETSIZE=4096(u can increase this also)
:::But ensure that your ulinit -n > what u set.
Because ulimit is all the connections+filehandles also

Subject: [Solaris-Users] Maximum TCP Connections

HI people,

I want to know which parameter can tell you what is the maximum TCP
connections for one socket. Is it ulimit -Sn?

If so how can I increase it from maybe 256 (which is the value by
default that I have) to maybe a lower or higher value. I though that it
was ulimit -S 128 but it doesn't change it.

Caan somebody clarify me this?

Thanks

Joaquin
