Im working with solaris 7, and backup my file systems remotely, the cuestion is the next:
*I have to backup my server(1) directory (this server have a tape DDS-3)the information to want backup is upper of 24Gb;
have other server(2) with a tape DDS-4, hence, does execute a remote backup(1-->2) with the sintaxis:
on server(1): tar -cvfb - 20 [directories] |ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] server(2)] dd of=/dev/rmt/0 obs=20b
how restore this backup on server(1) ???
