Hi amonotod, wiring Windows serials ports to Sun's console ports usually is a bad idea, as when Windows reboots, it will reset serial ports. As port resets suns will pick it up as Stop-A and will go to ok prompt immediately ( if you do not disable Stop-A ). Basically what you get is Sun systems that are breaking as often as Windows systems are rebooting ( and we know it happens often, right ;-) )
