Place the script in init.d and create a symbolic link in rc3.d with the link
name starting with Kxxwhatever. Where xx = number 00 to 99. You can also
do "init 6" for the reboot...

Subject: [Solaris-Users] shutdown and run levels

I am trying to test a shutdown script for my application. I have placed a
script in /etc/init.d and linked in rc0.d, but it does not appear to be
executed. The startup in rc3.d works, but not the shutdown.

I am testing by doing shutdown -y 5, then doing a control-d and specifying
runlevel 3.

Will this go through runlevel 0 ?
