Hi,
I have to configure a mysql db on solaris 8. According to the user of the
machine, it has 2 giga, but according to "top" it says the server has only 1.
output from top (latest version from sunfreeware).
Memory: 1152M real, 92M free, 2162M swap in use, 2759M swap free
I tried using vmstat, sar, prstat, etc.
So, is top lying to me?
is there any "simple and direct" command to tell the amount of physical ram
(and maybe empty slots), WITHOUT going to the OK prompt?
Like "free" or /proc/somefile in Linux?
Thanks,
Leo
